The Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a legal complaint alleging fraud against Tenet Asset Management, a US hedge fund manager, its principal and one of its funds.

The US regulator said a court had granted its application for a temporary restraining order on the firm and the appointment of a temporary receiver over the fund and the firm.
