Schroders has acquired a minority stake in a blockchain and digital assets focused asset manager in a move that could allow it to offer tokenised funds to investors.

The London-listed manager, which has some £732bn under management, made the investment in Forteus, the asset management arm of Swiss firm Numeus Group.
