Russia jumps on corporate governance bandwagon

The Russian government is pushing through a voluntary code on corporate governance that could significantly impact the way the country's companies treat investors.

Igor Kostikov, chairman of the Russian Federal Commission on the Securities Market, spoke of the plans at a round table hosted by US law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld this week.
