Royal London beefs up fixed income team

Royal London Asset Management has doubled its fixed income team with the hire of Sarjiv Vaid, Paul Doran and Peter Allwright as bond fund managers.

The three will report to Jonathan Platt, head of fixed income. Royal London recruited from rival fund managers after none of the members of Scottish Life's fixed income team decided to join its operation in London. Royal London took over Edinburgh-based Scottish Life last year.
