Henderson appoints Garrood successor

A 19-year veteran of JP Morgan Asset Management is to become the new chief financial officer at UK fund manager Henderson

UK fund manager Henderson Global Investors has appointed a 19-year veteran of JP Morgan Asset Management as its new chief financial officer.

Roger Thompson joins from JP Morgan's funds arm, where he was global chief operating officer having previously led its UK business and served as international chief financial officer. He also had stints in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore during his nearly two decades at the group.
