RBC hires Morgan Stanley MD for key trading post

Jas Sandhu will run algorithmic trading across the Canadian bank's cash equities and ETF desks

RBC Capital Markets has hired a Morgan Stanley managing director to oversee the execution of computer-driven trades in its global equities business.

An established member of Morgan Stanley's giant sales and trading business, Jas Sandhu spent 16 years with the US bank in roles that included head of Asia Pacific trading.
