Raymond James poaches from Nomura, Credit Suisse to bolster European private equity coverage

Mid-market specialist continues push to grow its investment bank in the EU

Raymond James has hired senior bankers from Nomura and Credit Suisse for its private capital business in Europe as part of a broader buildout in the region.

Guy Hume is joining Raymond James from Nomura, where he led its financial sponsors business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as a managing director. Callie Kourniotis has made the move from Credit Suisse.
