Rainmakers return to dealmaking in Morgan Stanley reshuffle

Morgan Stanley has given its leading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) bankers free rein to focus on deals by taking away their management responsibilities with the creation of a strategic engagements group.

The group will comprise the bank's biggest dealmaking names who manage relationships with its most important corporate finance clients around the world. Jo Perella, the veteran M&A dealmaker, will lead the group.
