Top City lawyer: Investment research review won’t be a ‘silver bullet’

The influential City lawyer who spearheaded a review of the UK’s investment research rules says her reforms won't be “a silver bullet”, and will need to work alongside other initiatives to bolster London's capital markets.

Hogan Lovells partner Rachel Kent was appointed by the Treasury in March to chair a review into the investment research market, and to assess whether the EU's MiFID II rules were denting the attractiveness of the City for listings.
