PwC UK partner pay edges up as job cuts help boost profit

The Big Four accountancy firm has posted a rise in revenue and profit following ‘considered cost management’

PwC’s average UK partner pay has edged up amid a year of job cuts and cost control at the Big Four firm.

Partners took home an average of £865,000 for the year ended 30 June 2025, up from £862,000, in a year in which headcount fell by more than 2,000 across its UK, Middle East and Channel Islands businesses.
