PwC cancels summer internship, but guarantees jobs for all 400 students in 2021

Big Four accountancy firm joins the ranks of City firms postponing or cancelling summer internships, in a sign they do not expect the disruption caused by the virus to abate any time soon

PwC has cancelled its UK summer internship programme but has promised all 400 participants a slot on its 2021 graduate training scheme, as the group tries to tackle to the disruption caused by the coronavirus.

The Big Four accountancy firm informed all of the university students at the of April that their two-month placement no longer existed. However, all students have been guaranteed a job the following autumn.
