Prudential M&G, the UK fund manager, has hired Didier Haenecour and Daniel Sheard as fund directors to help sell more specialist bond products to UK pension funds.

Sheard joins after 18 years in bonds at Barclays Global Investors. His role at Prudential will be to boost returns in the manager's macro portfolios.
