Private Equity Holding (PEH), the listed private equity company managed by Swiss Life Private Equity Partners, has sold part of its portfolio to a secondary buyer in an attempt to claw back heavy losses from the fund.

PEH sold the stake and future commitment in Vantage Point 4, a general venture fund, for a figure "close to its Sfr2m (€1.3m) book value", the company said.
