Presidential turmoil sparks Ukraine credit concern

Standard & Poor's, the international credit agency, has said it is closely monitoring Ukraine where total public sector debt stands at about $7bn (€5.3bn), most of it in the hands of European and US banks and financial institutions.

S&P currently rates the country B plus, below investment grade, with a stable outlook.
