Popularity of outsourcing boosts Infosys' revenues

Infosys Technologies, the Indian consulting and IT services company, has recorded a 54% increase in revenues for the fourth quarter ended March 31, as offshore outsourcing of IT developments gains ground.

Fourth-quarter revenues were $216m (€200m) and earnings per share were up from $0.32 to $0.40. Europe accounted for 18.7% of total revenues.
