Pond Venture Partners, the UK technology venture capital firm, has hired computing industry veteran Peter van Cuylenburg as a venture partner.

Van Cuylenburg will source deals in new technologies, and he will also become a member of the Pond's advisory board. He will be based in the US, but will look at deals in Europe.
