Pickering slams FSA stakeholder proposals

Alan Pickering of the National Association of Pension Funds has condemned the Financial Services Authority's proposals for the regulation of stakeholder pension schemes as 'a horrifying prospect'.

The FSA has brought out a discussion paper on the Government's recommendations for the regulation of stakeholder pensions, which controversially will be sold without advice.
