PGIM taps Morgan Stanley executive as next CEO

Jacques Chappuis, co-head of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, will take over the top job from David Hunt next year

PGIM, the $1.4tn asset management business owned by Prudential Financial, has appointed Jacques Chappuis as its next chief executive, replacing David Hunt who is stepping down after more than a decade with the US firm.

Chappuis, who since the start of 2024 has been co-head of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, will take over the top job from Hunt in May 2025.
