Perella lands role on Inmarsat deal

Boutique investment bank Perella Weinberg Partners has landed its fourth high-profile European advisory mandate of the year, advising satellite communications group Inmarsat, which yesterday received a preliminary approach from US hedge fund Harbinger Capital.

The bank has been appointed as one of three financial advisers to Inmarsat, alongside Lehman Brothers and JPMorgan Cazenove, which are corporate brokers to the company.
