McCulley departs Pimco in post-Gross era

Paul McCulley, who rejoined Pacific Investment Management Co. last May in a newly created role of chief economist, quit the US asset manager on Friday, saying that he will likely continue “thinking, writing and speaking” about macroeconomic issues in the academic arena.
