Parallel Ventures Managers, the private equity co-investment firm, closes its fourth year with a tie-up with Excel Partners, a Spanish investment adviser.

The deal completes Parallel's European network almost a year to the day it signed up Emerald, its Italian partner. Other affiliate firms include Acland in France and Equivest in Germany.
