Pantheon, a private equity fund of funds specialist, has raised a $900m (€739m) fund to invest in other private equity funds and enable investors to manage their exposure to individual buy-out houses.

Secondary funds buy stakes in other private equity funds and have become an increasingly popular way for investors to actively manage their exposure to the asset class.
