OM nominates Crest to settle trades under LSE takeover

Crest, the UK settlement house, is the chosen institution to settle trades of OM Gruppen under the Swedish technology group's plans to buy the London Stock Exchange.

Although OM has not made a formal approach to Crest, Peter Cox, president of OM London Exchange, the power exchange, said that OM will aim to enter into a partnership with the depository to speed up the formation of links to other depositories.
