New chief executive David Stewart hopes to nurture young talent and improve staff retention

David Stewart has given himself 10 years to complete the devolution of power at Odey Asset Management, the UK hedge fund he joined as chief executive last year.

Stewart, a former president of European institutional business at Fidelity, the US fund manager, was hired by founder Crispin Odey to ease the handing over of power to the next generation of managers.
