CMS Cameron McKenna, the European law firm, has boosted its telecoms practice by hiring the European head of legal at Nortel Networks, the US listed global communications company.

David Roberts will be advising on commercial agreements with a heavy technology content as well as helping expand the firm's relationships with both Nortel and other telecommunications companies for mergers and acquisitions mandates.
