Nordea shifts to Finland after wrangle with Sweden

Nordea, the Nordic banking giant, has announced it will re-domicile to Finland after a public standoff with Swedish regulators.

Board members of the Scandinavian financial services company, which is currently headquartered in Stockholm, spent six months considering the relocation. The decision came as a result of Swedish authorities pushing for banks to pay more in regulatory and capital costs.
