Nomura-backed crypto firm Komainu to buy custodian Propine in Asia push

Propine, founded by former BNP Paribas trader Tuhina Singh, is Komainu’s latest buy as it pushes into Singapore

Nomura-backed crypto firm Komainu has signed an agreement to buy Singapore-based digital asset custodian Propine Holdings.

The acquisition, which is subject to approval by Singapore’s financial regulatory authority, will help Komainu expand its presence in Asia, the company said in a 22 October statement.
