Nasdaq has appointed Robert Hassen senior vice president and corporate controller.

Hassen's responsibilities will include all accounting operations and he reports directly to David P Warren, chief financial officer. He came from Deutsche Bank North America, where he was managing director and controller. Paul Warburg will become vice president of investor relations, and is responsible for all investor-related activities. Warburg came from 24/7 Media, where he was vice president of finance and operations.
