Merrill Lynch Investment Managers has appointed Struan Dott as a regional sales manager for the north of England and Scotland.

Dott will be responsible for intermediary and third-party sales, and works closely with Carl Rowbury, regional head. He joins the firm from Close Finsburg Asset Management, where he held a similar role.
