New pensions statements will encourage more to save, says Rooker

Social Security Minister Jeff Rooker has presented a Kiss FM employee with the first statement of estimated income on retirement from state and private pensions combined, which he says will encourage people to save more.

Emap, which owns Kiss FM, is one of the pilot partners currently working with the DSS on combined pension statements, alongside NPI, Sainsbury, AXA/Sunlife and Prudential.
