Lehman Brothers has promoted Russell Jones, the firm's chief economist in Asia, as head of foreign exchange research.

Reporting to Jamil Baz, co-head of fixed income research in Europe, and John Llewellyn, global chief economist, Jones will head the firm's forex research team and will relocate to London.
