'Natixis IM and H2O AM are in discussions concerning the progressive and orderly unwinding of their partnership,' the bank said

French bank Natixis is cutting ties with its subsidiary, H20 Asset Management, and overhauling its struggling equity derivatives business as part of a plan to turn around performance after posting a loss in the second quarter.

Natixis said it was considering selling its 50% stake in the asset manager in a statement accompanying its third-quarter results.
