Nasdaq upgrades prospects

Nasdaq upgraded its annual profit forecast yesterday after it turned a $5.5m (€4.5m) loss into a $17.8m profit in the three months to September 30.

Robert Greifeld, chief executive of Nasdaq, said: "Nasdaq's third-quarter results represent our fourth consecutive quarter of net income growth."
