Nasdaq plans to offer around-the-clock stock trading, becoming the latest exchange to respond to a surge in demand for US equities from global investors.

The New York-based firm has started engaging with regulators and market participants over enabling 24-hour trading from Monday to Friday, president Tal Cohen said in a LinkedIn post.
