Nardelli leaves Italian treasury for Bank of America

Bank of America has appointed Domenico Nardelli, the Italian government's head of international funding, to be a managing director in its frequent borrower bond syndicate team.

Banking sources said Nardelli is a well known figure in the European debt markets and has helped the Italian government gain a reputation as one of the most ambitious and sophisticated government borrowers in the bond and securitisation markets.
