Hedge funds could get a new kind of intern this summer: MPs from each of the UK political parties are agreeing to shadow fund managers to better understand how they work.

The idea has been mooted by an all-party parliamentary group set up to educate politicians about what hedge funds do. The politicians involved are now approaching hedge fund managers to gauge their interest.
