Morningstar gets first in-house lawyer

Morningstar, a financial investment research firm and the subject of an investigation by the US regulator, the Securities and Exchange Commission, has hired its first in-house lawyer.

Richard Robbins joins as general counsel and corporate secretary from Sidley Austin Brown and Wood where he had been since 1999.
