Morley up almost a half as fees rise

Profits at Morley Fund Management, part of UK life insurer Aviva, grew 45% to £31m (€45m) during the first half of the year, as performance fees rose and market movements and new business added to assets under management.

Morley's UK business led the growth, with operating profit more than doubling to £23m. Profits from overseas operations rose 12% to £8m.
