Mohamed El-Erian to leave Barclays’ board

Allianz chief economic adviser had been a non-executive director at the UK bank since 2020

Mohamed El-Erian will step down from Barclays’ board, the bank said.

El-Erian, who is the chief economic adviser to Allianz, will give up his seat on the board and the UK bank’s risk and nominations committee from 1 September.
