Moelis’s UK arm posts £2.5m loss as banker hiring picked up

The boutique added nearly 20 bankers to its UK business last year

The UK arm of boutique Moelis & Co slipped to a £2.5m loss last year as it added around 20 new dealmakers to its ranks.

Moelis posted the loss for its UK unit in newly-released accounts on Companies House, as revenue at the boutique ticked down to £112.3m for 2024.
