Middle East tensions prompt investors to dump emerging market bonds

Worries about the escalating conflict in the Middle East have led to falls in emerging market debt, as investors and bank traders dumped unwanted bonds on to the market.

Bond prices fell sharply Thursday afternoon and continued into Friday morning after news of Israeli air raids in Gaza.
