Memec jumps on improved junk bond sentiment

UK semi conductor distributor Memec is to take advantage of improved junk bond market conditions by issuing a €275m ($237m) deal by the end of the year.

With Alfa Laval and Grohe having sold €400m of high-yield bonds late last week, Memec's bankers are confident that investors will be eager to buy bonds from another industrial buy-out company.
