UK Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi is set to continue a fight between the government and regulators as he plans to double down on plans to axe financial services rules in the wake of Brexit.

The new chancellor will use the influential Mansion House gathering of leading financiers on the evening of 19 July to showcase his vision of a new regulatory regime in the aftermath of the UK's split with the EU.
