Maestro launches currency hedge fund

Maestro Capital Management, the Singapore alternative investment house, has launched a Cayman Islands-domiciled hedge fund specialising in currency and global futures trading.

The fund, which began trading last month, targets a standard deviation of 10%. Returns are expected to average 20% per annum. Maestro started trading with initial assets of $12m (€10.2m).
