Lord Mayor on CBI sexual misconduct probe: ‘Reconsider relations if bad behaviour was tolerated’

The CBI will survive but the body isn’t a priority for financial services

Lord Mayor Nicholas Lyons said the sexual misconduct scandal that has engulfed the Confederation of British Industry isn’t an “existential threat” to the trade body.

“If there was some institutionalised bad behaviour that has been tolerated, I think people will absolutely need to reconsider what their future relationships are, but we don’t know yet whether these are isolated incidents or something more,” he told Financial News.
