Britain’s capital markets reforms have yet to trigger a “real turning point” in UK equity investment and must go further, according to the chief executive of the London Stock Exchange.

Julia Hoggett told a Capital Markets Industry Taskforce event that while “we’ve made a phenomenal amount of progress on the reform agenda”, the country has “still not seen the real turning point in terms of flows of risk capital within and into the UK”.
