Local authority pension fund moves into active currency

The £2.6bn (€3.8bn) Essex County Council pension fund has appointed two active currency managers as local authorities across the UK continue to embrace the strategy.

Record Currency Management and Mellon Global Investments won active currency mandates, each with a notional value of £500m, according to mandate tracking service MandateWire.
