Lloyds sells French fund management operations to UBS

Lloyds TSB is set to sell its French fund management and private banking business, including its subsidiaries Lloyds Bank SA, Chaillot Assurances and Capucines Investissements, to UBS (France).

Lloyds said the net asset value of the businesses was roughly £20m (€28.4m) and that combined funds under management equalled just over €1bn.
