Lloyd’s of London tells staff: Have yourselves a well-behaved Christmas

Insurance market boss preps staff ahead of its Christmas party and a ‘challenging time of the year’

Thousands of workers at Lloyd’s of London have been warned to be on their best behaviour at office Christmas parties in the wake of allegations of bullying and sexual harassment at the world’s biggest insurance market.

Chief executive John Neal told Financial News that an email had been sent to staff at Lloyd’s and its member companies, reminding them of the standards of behaviour expected during what he called a “challenging time of the year”.
