Linklaters partner pay tops £2m as firm eyes further US expansion

The Magic Circle law firm says it hasn’t ‘scratched the surface’ of opportunities in the US and plans to continue its New York hiring spree

Equity partners at Linklaters are set to take home an average of £2.2m, marking a 15% increase on the previous year.

The Magic Circle law firm posted a 11% rise in revenue to £2.3bn in the year to 30 April 2025, while pre-tax profit was up 14% to £1.08bn. It is the first time profit has surpassed the £1bn mark.
